Approvals: DAMAC manages NOC for all Lagoons clusters via Damac Living — pool, landscape and exterior finish rules are cluster-sensitive. Waterfront protection and wet-area detailing must be documented in depth for inspection. Exterior alterations (balconies, doors, windows, fencing, landscaping) are tightly controlled under community rules. DM/DEWA when structure or services change.

Climate: Lagoon humidity + intense sun: membranes, deck materials and UV-stable outdoor finishes are non-negotiable. Soil and setback conditions vary by plot — pool placement must respect approved boundaries.

Common scopes: Swimming pool construction and renovation; Mediterranean landscaping, pergolas and outdoor kitchens; Kitchen and bathroom elevation post-handover; Full villa turnkey with indoor–outdoor flow.

Avoid: Cosmetic pool tiling without shell/membrane diagnosis. Generic landscaping that ignores soil, irrigation and community character. Treating exterior privacy screens or fencing as DIY — community rules often prohibit unapproved exterior changes. Separate contractors for pool vs garden causing dual NOC and programme friction.
